The first time playing a galgame, you're afraid of picking the wrong choices and missing the route you want—especially with a quality title like *The Witch's Night Banquet* that has so many options it's mind-numbing. One wrong step and you miss out on stunning CGs and tear-jerking storylines. This guide contains all the painful lessons from my first playthrough. Follow these choices and you'll guarantee a smooth path to your best girl, avoiding that ultimate shitty feeling of realizing you're on the wrong route in Chapter 4.

I. Basic Game Operations & Core Tips

1. Press CTRL to quickly skip dialogue. There's a button in the bottom-right corner to jump directly to the next choice, specifically for veterans who just want to see specific scenes. However, newbies shouldn't skip randomly—you'll miss foreshadowing.

2. After clearing any route once, extra stories unlock on the title screen. These contain sweet follow-up stories with some fan service scenes. Don't delete the game right after finishing.

3. All unlocked CGs and H-scenes can be replayed in Gallery Mode. If you want to revisit a girl's iconic moments, just go there—no need to replay the entire game.

4. Make sure to get the important choices right; other options can be chosen freely. But pay special attention: DON'T accidentally enter Kazune's route. Once you enter this route, all subsequent choices disappear and you're locked in. To avoid Kazune's route, remember two things: In 2-1, choose "That's too clingy, never mind," and you can't enter her route on your first playthrough anyway, so just focus on the other girls.

II. Nene Ayachi Route Complete Walkthrough

image.png

As the true heroine, Nene Ayachi has the most screen time, most complete story, and most exquisite CGs. I recommend going for her on your first playthrough to experience the most complete witch world lore.

First Playthrough:

Chapters 1-1 and 1-2 have that famous 0721 scene—veterans know what's up. Not recommended for public play.

After 1-6, there's an opening animation with epic music that synergizes explosively with the story.

2-1 Choice: Praise her honestly again

2-2 Choice: Ask Nene for help (IMPORTANT). Choose wrong here and you won't get Nene's route.

3-2 has three consecutive choices: Change viewing time / Continue with everyone / Maybe—just pick the first option for all three.

3-3 Choice: Speak normally

3-7 Choice: Tell the truth (IMPORTANT). Honesty is the best policy.

4-2 Choice: Give up studying, change mood

4-6 Choice: Ask her to hold hands again (IMPORTANT). This unlocks an absolutely gorgeous CG.

4-7 has two options: Look away / I'm more inclined toward Nene (IMPORTANT). The second option is key to entering Nene's route.

After making these choices, you'll officially enter the latter half of Nene's route. Subsequent choices won't affect the ending.

H-Scene Nodes: Chapters 5-5, 5-7, 5-8, 6-1, 7-1 have H-scenes.

7-5 marks the official end of the story and first playthrough completion.

Second Playthrough:

Select "New Game" from the title screen to start the second playthrough. This time you don't need to make any choices—pure story enjoyment.

Chapters 2-2, 2-3, 2-9, 3-6 have H-scenes—have tissues ready.

The story ends after 3-7, completing the second playthrough.

Don't forget the extra story at the end, which contains Nene's follow-up tale.

III. Meguru Inaba Route Complete Walkthrough

image.png

Meguru Inaba's route is explosively sweet, perfect for those who love high-sugar artificial romance. The story is lighthearted and fun—watching these two goofballs bicker daily is incredibly stress-relieving.

2-1 Choice: Praise her honestly again

2-2 Choice: Continue with Meguru like this (IMPORTANT). This locks you into the little devil route.

3-2 has three consecutive important choices:

1. ...Hesitate (IMPORTANT)

2. ...This counts as part of the practice too (IMPORTANT)

3. It's fine (IMPORTANT)

3-3 Choice: Speak normally

3-7 Choice: Change the subject

4-2 Choice: Since it's a rare opportunity, ask someone for advice

4-6 Choice: I just can't bring myself to say that

4-7 Choice: Praise her

"Maybe I'll vote for Meguru?" (IMPORTANT). When this choice appears, you know you're on the right track.

Next, you'll enter the latter half of Meguru Inaba's route—choose however you like from here.

H-Scene Nodes: Chapters 8-7, 8-8, 9-2, 9-4 have H-scenes.

The story ends after 9-6, completing Meguru Inaba's route.

The extra story is hilarious—definitely go back for it.

IV. Tsumugi Shiiba Route Complete Walkthrough

image.png

Tsumugi Shiiba is your standard junior character with a hint of devilish charm. The dark, deep, and tragic elements in her story are perfectly balanced—not too depressing. The confession CG is absolutely stunning, and the gap moe when she's in male clothing directly hits my preferences.

2-1 Choice: Praise her honestly again

2-2 Choice: Ask Nene for help

3-2 Triple Choice: Change viewing time / Continue with everyone / Maybe

3-3 Choice: Speak normally

3-7 Choice: Tell the truth

4-2 Choice: Give up studying, change mood (IMPORTANT). Choose wrong here and you won't enter the junior route.

4-6 Choice: Ask her to hold hands again

4-7 has two options: Look away / Right now I'm all about the band, can't think about this (IMPORTANT). The second option is key to entering the route.

You'll enter the latter half of Tsumugi Shiiba's route. Chapter 7-1 has ultra-romantic date scenes and gorgeous CGs—recommend savoring slowly.

H-Scene Nodes: Chapters 7-1, 7-5, 7-6, 8-2 have H-scenes.

The story ends after 8-7, completing Tsumugi Shiiba's route.

Don't miss the extra story—it has surprises.

V. Touko Tokakushi Route Complete Walkthrough

image.png

The big-breasted senior senpai with older-sister attributes—if that's your type, go for it. The story is solid overall, and the gap between her mature appearance and actual tsundere personality is quite interesting.

2-1 Choice: Praise her honestly again

2-2 Choice: Continue with Meguru like this

3-2 Triple Choice: ...Hesitate / ...This counts as part of the practice too / It's fine

3-3 Choice: Speak normally

3-7 Choice: Change the subject

4-2 Choice: Since it's a rare opportunity, ask someone for advice (IMPORTANT)

4-6 Choice: I just can't bring myself to say that

4-7 Choice: Praise her

"Then of course... Senpai Touko?" (IMPORTANT). Choose correctly to enter the senpai route.

Chapter 7-1 has date scenes and high-quality CGs where the senpai's mature charm is displayed perfectly.

H-Scene Nodes: Chapters 6-6, 7-4, 7-6, 9-2 have H-scenes.

The story ends after 9-4, completing Touko Tokakushi's route.

Remember to complete the extra story.

VI. Kazune Karya Route Complete Walkthrough

image.png

This route requires second playthrough completion to unlock. Flat-chested short-haired blonde attributes. The story is a bit confusing, especially the public rejection scene that leaves people scratching their heads.

(After Second Playthrough)

2-1 Choice: Praise her honestly again (IMPORTANT)

2-2 Choice: Ask Nene to demonstrate

3-2 Consecutive Choices: Change viewing time (IMPORTANT), Want to fill my stomach first (IMPORTANT), Maybe

3-3 Choice: Try making a joke (IMPORTANT)

3-7 Choice: Change the subject

4-2 Choice: Since it's a rare opportunity, ask someone for advice

Chapter 6-1 has the classic "good person card" scene—watching it is a bit stomachache-inducing.

H-Scene Nodes: Chapters 6-2, 6-4, 6-7 have H-scenes.

The story ends after 6-7, completing Kazune Karya's route.

There's extra story too—don't forget to watch after finishing.

VII. Personal Review & Impressions

image.png

Honestly, I've played some eroge before, like Illusion's *Room Girl* and *AI Shoujo*. But *The Witch's Night Banquet* is the first proper galgame I seriously completed, taking about a week to clear all routes.

This work surprised me far beyond expectations. I heard Yuzusoft was good for beginners and just wanted to test the waters. But once I got into it, I discovered the music is incredible, the story is lighthearted yet has moving moments, the sprites are so lively that every expression change hits you, the CGs are beautiful enough to be wallpapers, and the voice acting is god-tier. Honestly, I didn't even look closely at most H-scenes—just CTRL-skipped through them.

Nene Ayachi's main storyline has the highest completion and most well-rounded character development. The NTR-the-protagonist-with-the-protagonist design in her first and second playthroughs is indeed criticized by many players. Basically, the writer's skill wasn't enough—they wanted a shocking twist but ended up with something half-baked. But I think the flaws don't overshadow the merits. Just don't overthink this part. If it bothers you, just imagine the first playthrough's protagonist has other heroines and is willing to help Nene fulfill her wish. For Nene, Kei is still by her side in the end. As for whether the protagonists in the first and second playthroughs are the same person, treat it as parallel universes—whatever helps you sleep at night.

Meguru Inaba's story is pure sweetness. If Nene's route is a youthful love song with hints of bittersweetness, then Meguru's route is artificially sweetened sugar concentrate. But amazingly, this sugar isn't cloying at all. Some people think taking three chapters to confess is deliberate padding, but I think the pacing is just right. Not everyone is playing for the home run—this kind of plain, relaxed, everyday romance is the most real.

Tsumugi Shiiba's storyline is also very sweet—she feels more like a junior than Meguru. The dark, deep, tragic elements in her story are handled just right. The confession CG is breathtakingly beautiful. Especially the gap moe when she's in male clothing—that hidden energy is no joke. The only thing that left a bad taste was that bratty Akagi girl—probably the route's only flaw. The background story's little Chihiro has almost zero presence, but that's fine too, saves you from dwelling on unimportant past events.

Touko Tokakushi's route—big-breasted senior senpai with older-sister attributes isn't really my type, so I didn't dive deep. Plus, her front-facing sprite really looks a bit like a cockroach, which made it hard to keep a straight face. But the story itself is decent, and the senpai's gap moe is quite successful.

Kazune Karya's route—flat-chested short-haired blonde is completely not my type, plus the public rejection scene was truly baffling, so I rushed through this route.

Overall, *The Witch's Night Banquet* is a perfect entry-point title. I'd even give it a 9/10.
