90% of new players diving into Summer Pockets hit the same snag right out the gate: downloading the wrong version. The original SP only packs 4 heroine routes, while the SPR Enhanced Edition doubles that to 8 main heroines plus 2 hidden storylines—a massive gap in narrative completeness. This guide tackles the three core headaches—version selection, resource acquisition, and route order—getting you through Torishirojima's summer with maximum efficiency in minimum time. Bookmark this page and come back whenever you're stuck mid-route.

Must-Read for Beginners

Summer Pockets splits into two versions: the original SP and SPR Enhanced. The base game only covers Ao, Kamome, Tsumugi, and Shiroha. SPR adds full routes for Shiki, Shizuku, Miki, and Umi, plus two minigame storylines for ping-pong and Island Pokémon. The main routes (A-line and P-line) also get new CGs and fresh endings. If you're sitting on the 4-heroine version, swap your files immediately. This guide provides dual-platform downloads for PC and Android, bundled with 100% CG saves for those who'd rather skip the grind and jump straight into the main story. The route recommendations section breaks down exactly which paths to tackle first and which to save for later, so you don't dilute the emotional impact.

I. Version Identification & Download Links

Assuming you've grabbed "Summer Pockets REFLECTION BLUE" (8 girls on the main menu), hereafter referred to as SPRB.

Wait, you only see 4? That's the original "Summer Pockets" (hereafter SP). Go grab the enhanced SPRB immediately (differences detailed below).

Haven't downloaded either? Multiple working options for Android and PC below, all verified active (as of June 30, 2024). I won't let a single person who wants to experience Natsudou go empty-handed!!!

Click the header image in the navigation bar, search the game title, and download directly.

All versions include no-story-lock (100% CG) saves. Don't feel like grinding through every route? Jump straight into A-line and P-line. For Android options ①②, check the game box comments for setup instructions; ③④ have guides inside the archives. PC archives include saves in the package. Questions about the story? DM or comment. If this helped, drop a like.

II. Ready to Play? Here's What You Need to Know

SPRB contains 14 routes total: 1 common route, 1 solo route, 8 heroine routes, 2 minigame routes, and 2 hidden main routes. Specifically: Common, Early Boat Home, Ao, Kamome, Shiroha, Tsumugi (chou, second tone! second tone!), Shizuku, Miki, Shiki, Umi, Island Ping-Pong, Island Pokémon, ALKA, and POCKETS.

I don't recommend following ultra-detailed walkthroughs (the kind that mark every location for every day). Despite the abundance of choices, you know who you're gunning for. Once you lock into a route, choices basically disappear. Below are spoiler-free micro-summaries of each route, my recommended play order, and estimated completion times. The actual path is entirely your call.

Common Route: The prologue introducing protagonist Hairi to Torishirojima. After completion, SPRB's OP plays, returning you to the main menu where you can skip the prologue on subsequent playthroughs (not available during Restart). Time: ~1-2 hours.

Entering Heroine Routes: Except for Umi's route, just find your target every morning and afternoon (yeah, it feels stalker-ish, but Hairi doesn't know that—hey, it's fate).

Umi Route Entry: Hang with your bro daily or play the field, visiting multiple girls or wandering the island. On August 8th, a "go home" event triggers. Choose to stay, and you'll enter Umi's route.

A & P Line Entry: Unlock A-line by completing all 7 heroine routes except Umi. P-line unlocks after clearing A-line.

Ping-Pong & Island Pokémon Entry: See the bottom of this guide.

8 Heroine Route Notes:

① After 4 playthroughs (4 routes cleared), the main menu's START (new game) becomes ReSTART (entry point for remaining 3 heroines). Umi's route doesn't count toward this total.

② Umi/Hairi's address and daily behavior change based on playthrough state. Pay attention—everything clicks once you hit A-line (SPRB version).

【START】(Playthroughs 1-4)

【ReSTART】(Playthroughs 1-2)

【ReSTART】(Playthrough 3)

【ALKA Line】

If you're playing the Steam SP version first:

The progression changes—you only need 4 routes to unlock the main story (Ao, Tsumugi, Kamome, Shiroha).

【START】(Playthroughs 1-2)

【ReSTART】(Playthrough 1)

【ReSTART】(Playthrough 2)

【ALKA Line】

Ao's Route:

Introduces the core lore running through the entire work. Personally recommended as first pick, though saving it for later works if you want mystery. Time: ~3.5-5 hours (the most seductive and gullible woman on the island).

Shiroha's Route:

The true heroine route. Personally recommended for last, cleared alongside A-line and P-line. These three form the main narrative core. Time: ~3-4 hours. Can also be played first since the slice-of-life is genuinely sweet. (Seriously, with this silver-haired true heroine, you absolutely must finish the entire work!!!)

Shiroha Route Note: The 10 ingredient combinations for her cooking on August 7th sell for three different prices (5k, 20k, 50k), each triggering different date stories on August 9th. However, only the 50k combination unlocks the off-island date, which contains that super super super beautiful CG. Hairi always dates Shiroha on August 9th; different dishes just change the date scenario without affecting completion.

Umi's Route:

Must be cleared before the 4th playthrough, or the route becomes inaccessible (Umi vanishes from the main menu at Restart). Only re-enterable after clearing P-line. Can be played first by wandering the island until August 8th to spend summer with Umi. Time: ~3-4 hours.

Umi Route Bonus: After completing the game, replay Umi's route for a completely different emotional experience—Niijima Yuu's craftsmanship (story doesn't change).

Tsumugi's Route:

Time: ~4.5-6 hours (the most "summer" feeling route).

Shizuku's Route:

Recommended paired with Tsumugi's route since both characters appear frequently in each other's stories. Clearing both resolves lingering questions. Time: ~3.5-5 hours (solid middle-ground).

Miki's Route:

Time: ~3-5.5 hours. Explores the Boys' Brigade story, more comedy-focused (decent).

Kamome's Route:

From a 100% CG collection standpoint, save for last since some CGs only unlock when Hairi enters her third address state (ReSTART 3rd playthrough). Time: ~3-4.5 hours (the most beautiful, most fairy-tale-like story).

Kamome Route Warning: Guessing wrong at the final treasure location sends you straight home. Save before choosing!!!

Shiki's Route:

Absolutely critical. Time: ~4-6 hours (my personal favorite).

Solo Boat Home Route:

Play the field daily—visit different girls or hang with your bro. Stay uncommitted, then choose to boat home on August 8th.

Ping-Pong Route:

You're really not gonna experience ping-pong on Torishirojima this summer? (The sound effects and voice lines are hilarious—laughing until your stomach hurts at 2 AM. Must-play on PC!)

Island Pokémon Route:

You're really not gonna dominate Torishirojima through Island Pokémon this summer? (Also solid, higher gameplay depth.)

A-Line:

ALKA line—the main narrative thread. Time: ~4.5-6 hours (tear-jerker nuke warning).

P-Line:

Pocket line—the grand finale. Time: ~1.5-2.5 hours (theme elevation, Key-style ending, you know the drill).

Personal Recommendation 1: (Highly Recommended)

【START】Playthroughs 1-4: Umi → Ao → Tsumugi → Shizuku → Shiki →

【ReSTART】Playthroughs 1-3: Miki → Shiroha → Kamome →

Main Story: A → P →

(For full narrative experience. Minigames have hidden endings—good luck!)

Total Time: 40+ hours

Personal Recommendation 2:

Ao → Tsumugi → Kamome → Import 100% CG save → Shiki (select second address) → Shiroha (select third address) → A → P

(For those with completion saves who don't want to play every route. Shizuku, Miki, and Umi are optional.)

Total Time: 20+ hours

For Steam SP Version:

Ao → Tsumugi → Shiroha → Kamome → A → P

(Above are merely personal suggestions—adjust freely based on preference. Just watch out for Umi and Kamome timing; every other route order is completely flexible!)

Pro Tip: Play slice-of-life during daytime, save character routes for nighttime binge sessions. (You'll know when you're locked in—like Ao's route when the mountain glows one evening, choosing to approach locks you in, backing out kicks you to common route.) Anyone starting this needs patience; skipping A-line and P-line would be a genuine waste.

III. Already Played Original SP on Steam? Here's What's Different in SPRB (SPRB contains all SP content)

① New routes for Shiki, Shizuku, Miki, and Umi (Shiki's route is mandatory).

② Enhanced Ping-Pong and Island Pokémon minigames with solo routes and hidden endings (entry methods below).

③ Common route and original 4 heroine routes get additional scenes (daily life with new characters) and new CGs. Main heroine storylines unchanged.

④ A-line gets minor additions and new CGs—essentially identical.

⑤ P-line gets minor additions and a brand-new ending—Happy End.

Personal Suggestion: Import a 100% CG save, selectively play the 4 new routes (Ping-Pong and Shiki mandatory), check P-line's new ending.

IV. How to Enter Ping-Pong and Island Pokémon Routes

(Mobile players—forget it. PC only.)

During the common route prologue when Hairi arrives by boat, the "Which am I?" choice affects ping-pong abilities:

Injured migratory bird—Focuses on stagger.

Canary who forgot her song—Focuses on special move release.

Boxer with ruined fists—Focuses on damage.

Tongue-tied host—Focuses on survival.

Then on July 29th morning or afternoon, choose Umi (Dagashi shop).

Option: Buy same thing as Umi ①

    Buy shaved ice ②

Choose ①, then select what to buy:

Watch-type—Island Pokémon route.

Wristband-type—Ping-Pong route.

If you chose Wristband:

Later you'll get a "eat shaved ice?" choice.

Eat—Contract Torishirojima Syndrome (highly recommended!!!).

Don't eat—No effect.

Return to the map. A ping-pong/Island Pokémon tournament icon appears in the bottom-left. Don't click it yet —go to the secret base and find Tenshin (July 30th).

Choose—"With everyone," then the question mark's "DOUBLES" to unlock 2v2 mode. Doubles has a hidden boss—good luck! (Unlocks naturally on August 4th even without this choice.)

Choose—"Need training" to unlock free play mode.

If you chose Watch:

That evening Umi invites you to Island Pokémon. Just accept—there's a hidden ending here too. Good luck!
